Lindsay Cook
Lindsay is the Principal of SafeTech Health & Safety Systems. She has a strong corporate background in sales and marketing, is an experienced trainer and facilitator in Executive Coaching and Leadership Development. A problem solver, Lindsay is solutions focused and designed SafeTech plans to be straightforward and simple to use.
Lindsay is an NZQA qualified Workplace Assessor, she holds the NZQF New Zealand Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety Management, Level 6, and has completed the Exemplar Global Lead Audit Course on ISO 19011:2014, and ISO 9001:2015 based on TPECS competency unit QM, AU and TL, as well as related EMS, OHS and Regulatory issues.
Lindsay is an accomplished Clinical Hypnotherapist with more than 30 years’ experience, specialising in Equestrian Sports Performance for horse riders. Boating is one her passions and she enjoys getting out on the Hauraki Gulf from her base at Maraetai Beach.
Sara Feather
Sara is our Hawkes Bay Consultant. In Northern Ireland Sara worked as a personal injury lawyer dealing with accidents in the workplace. It was here she met her husband Campbell who was playing rugby for Ulster. Sara is qualified to practice law in New Zealand, Northern Ireland, England and Wales.
In 2007 Sara immigrated to New Zealand with Campbell and together they purchased a 247 hectare sheep and cattle farm in the Sherenden district of Hawkes Bay. Sara worked for Gifford Devine Lawyers in Hastings for two years before having their three children Patrick, Amelie and George. Sara’s interests include playing hockey and tennis, nature and the outdoors, and keeping fit.
Sara’s experience as a personal injury lawyer and knowledge of running a farm ensure she is well-equipped to to assist in implementing a suitable SafeTech plan for your business.
Michelle Harper
Michelle is Oamaru born and bred and has recently moved back to North Otago after living in Southland where she worked as a Recruitment Consultant. During her time in Recruitment Michelle worked on behalf of her clients advertising for different roles, interviewing, screening, and vetting each applicant to ensure she met the specific needs her client was seeking. Michelle often spent time on site of her clients’ workplaces learning about the day to day operations to enable her to be confident in finding the right candidates to meet expectations for each specific role. HR and Health and Safety were key responsibilities in Michelle’s role. Michelle is a people person and works alongside individuals to ensure all parties are satisfied.
Jessica Haddad
Jessica is our representative in the greater Manawatu and Tararua region. A qualified childcare educator, Jessica lives on a small organic lifestyle block in Tararua. A previous dairy herd owner and contract milker, Jessica has sound knowledge of health and safety within the farming industry.

Lee Hanna
Lee is SafeTech’s external auditor and mentor. Lee specialises in providing Health and Safety compliance solutions to a variety of business sectors.
She is particularly skilled at developing in-house capability, from ground level to senior management. Lee then acts as second-party audit and third-party audit for ACC, IMAT and ISO. Lee is a Technical Member of NZISM, a member of NZOQ since 2010, and holds an ANZIM Management Diploma.
Lee enjoys preparing companies for compliance and believes that is the start on the journey to excellence! Lee is highly adept at client management and has an instinctive feel for their business needs. She is able to quickly identify what is required, and make recommendations accordingly, with a strong focus on quality, continuing improvement and risk management, and taking clients into ISO accreditation. Her experience includes aviation, contracting, adventure tourism, horticulture, and latterly asbestos removal.

Lee embraces a full life in Northland having moved there 18 years ago. Yachting and rural interests as well as volunteering in the close community, keep her busy.
